20/06/2022

Dillon joined Asante as part of the New York Summer Internship programme in 2018 where he spent two months interning. During his internship, Dillon had the opportunity to work on creating client material, building valuation breakdowns and organising roadshows. Upon graduating, Dillon was offered a permanent position in the London team as Research Analyst.

Dillon has steadily progressed and has now been promoted to Associate, where he is involved in the deal co-ordination and project management across a range of the Group’s clients.

What did you enjoy most from your time interning with Asante?

From day 1, it was an immersive whirlwind experience being involved with the many live mandates and having various tasks assigned ad-hoc – ultimately meaning that no day was the same. The firm’s work with different asset classes, investment strategies and geographic focuses gave great exposure to many facets of the industry. Along with the guidance given by the wider team, there is really the opportunity to think creatively in your approach when dealing with a particular task at hand and the ability for everyone (even as an intern) to contribute in a productive and meaningful manner. What’s the most important thing you learnt from interning at Asante?

While it’s a quick learning curve being immersed in the role and picking up the industry knowledge, it was probably learning how to balance the various workstreams and different mandates at one time that was key in building my workplace development.

What would your advice be to anyone interested in joining Asante as an intern?
