Whitehorse Liquidity Partners Closes Fund IV at US$4.0 Billion Hard Cap

Asante Capital is pleased to announce that Whitehorse Liquidity Partners, a Canadian secondaries investment firm, has closed their fourth fund at its US$4 billion hardcap.

Fund IV exceeded its US$3 billion target and is double the size of predecessor Fund III, which closed in 2019. The team shifted seamlessly to a virtual fundraise and despite COVID, 2020 marked the largest ever year from a capital raise, deployment, and team growth perspective, with the firm more than doubling in size over the last year.

Whitehorse Liquidity Partners, formed in 2015, is a private equity firm focused on providing structured liquidity solutions to the alternative asset class. Whitehorse has identified what it believes to be a significant and untapped market opportunity in the utilisation of structured products to generate liquidity on private equity portfolios. Whitehorse has now raised over US$7.5 billion in commitments and has deployed over US$6.3 billion across more than 75 transactions.

Asante acted as European placement advisor for the fundraise.
